According to
CoinMarketCap statistics, the crypto market cap exceeded $2 trillion for the
first time since mid-May, with bitcoin leading the surge.

reached $48,048 early Monday, its highest amount since May 17, according to
CoinDesk statistics.
- Ether and
cardano, the world's two biggest cryptocurrencies, have risen 11 percent and 53
percent in the past seven days, respectively.
- According
to CoinMarketCap statistics, the crypto market cap fell as low as $1.19
trillion on July 20, implying that the industry has almost quadrupled in value
in less than a month.
- Following a high of over $2.5 trillion on May 12, crypto retreated and saw a few of months of downward pressure as China's mining crackdown took effect.
